THE PLIGHT OF THE BURMESE PEOPLE
As if the Burmese people hadn't enough to contend with by being brutally ruled by a Junta of military criminals, they now have to contend with one of the worst natural disasters ever to occur in the region. With a bit of luck this will spell the end of the general's rule as it appears that they don't have the resources to deal with the disaster. Hopefully, the world's aid agencies will get in there as quickly as possibe and do what they can to alleviate the suffering on the ground.

"Cynthia Witthoft""Make Another Hole In One""Drunken Orgy In Hell - 2004"歴史有史以来、古 はタトゥと同様、邪悪なものから身を守る魔除けを目的として用いられていたが、現在まで時代を経るに従いファッション性の意味合いが強くなっている。かつてからギャルがよく付けており、現在では耳へのピアスは一般人にとっても特別なことではなくなっている。また最近ではアイドルやアーティストの影響で、ヘソ、乳首などへのピアスもめずらしくはなくなってきたが、それ以外の部分へのピアスは、まだまだアンダーグラウンド的に受け止められがちな存在である。耳のピアス耳へのピアスは、インド、エジプトなどの古代文明に、人類が装飾品で身体を飾る際に耳への装飾も行ったことに始まる。当時の金工技術は高度で、輪状の金属製の耳飾りが一般的であった。この耳飾りは耳に開けた穴に取り付けられ、ピアスの原型となった。 また古代ローマにおい は男性の乳首へのピアスは、マントやケープを身体に留めるための、実用的かつ一般的な装飾であった。ボディピアスピアスは耳たぶだけではなく、鼻や臍、舌、乳首や性器などに付けることもある。このようなピアスは、20世紀末ごろからファッションとして行う者が多くなりみられるようになった。これら耳以外へのピアスを、一般的にボディピアスと呼び、また装身具のピアスを着装するために、身体に穴を開けることをボディピアッシングという。厳密にはピアッシングやピアスは、貫通を意味する言葉であり、人体への装飾ピアスはすべて、ボディピアスと呼称されなければならない。
