This song is deeper and more romantic than Every Breath You Take though.

This is "an obsession love song". Much like "Every Breath You Take" by the Police. Michael Stipe said so himself.

You'd be wrong there. Stipe was having to admit his sexuality in order to tell his family he DID not have AIDs. He grew up in southern Baptist Athens, GA where gay people weren't readily accepted. He was very shy and reserved growing up, also having terrible acne. He used to hide behind his hair and mumble on stage, this is when he finally came to terms with his inner self. How about look at the back-up dancers/singers? Duh! |
