She was pretty much an NYC--East Coast singer. Her music would pop up on some "underground" stations back in the day but, no, she didn't get much airplay at all, as I recall.

How come I missed her? I was very much into music then, I was about 16 when this song came out and she got no airplay, that I can remember. Such a pity.
