well, they said that before they decided to make the show tell a story. Why give her a part in Holler if that's when Geri left? It would defeat the purpose.

Plus the whole show tells a story. At the end of Viva Forever it shows Geri leaving, which in reality she did. Then it goes to Holler, their first single after Geri left. After that is Geri's solo song "It's Raining Men" which represents her start of her solo career after she left the Spice Girls.

If they were to give Geri a part in Holler and Love Lead The Way it would take away from the original. At least with Goodbye, Geri co-wrote that song before she left and the rest of the girls recorded it after she left.
