Your welcome. It's truly great, isn't it. I have to make an incredibly long presentation on the end the cold war, and I needed background music, but I think I found it. After all, wasn't the fall of the iron curtain just about the happiest occasion since the end of WWII? What do you think?

Because, rrcaires, kids are an excellent addition to any choir, in fact, when this was performed the first time, it was performed with a large number of the choir's members being children. It's traditionally been played that way since it was written, or I should say almost written, as Beethoven never finished it. It was found in his notes just what arrangement he wanted for everything as far as he had written it, and it called for a children's choir to take part. It's not the same without. JXD

In this version, the bass sings Freiheit ,schoener gotterfunken...instead Freude. The important bit in 1989 was the newly conquered FREEDOM.Greetings from Madrid.

Why does the 1st part have over a million views and this 326,000. Looks like not many stuck around even though it's a continuation.
