He doesn't explain things very well. Check Q-Berts DIY series for the definitive learn to scracth package, he breaks every scratch down and really makes it easy for someone who can't tell their flares from their orbits.

Well I got a bit of knowledge haha.Technics SL-1200 MK5's are the most popular, but also expensive.I'm trying to get a Numark turntable, because its cheap.If you wanna use software like Rane Serato, or Virtual DJ, you gotta get a high torque turntable, like a Numark TT200.Thats all I know for now.
