THE PLIGHT OF THE BURMESE PEOPLE
As if the Burmese people hadn't enough to contend with by being brutally ruled by a Junta of military criminals, they now have to contend with one of the worst natural disasters ever to occur in the region. With a bit of luck this will spell the end of the general's rule as it appears that they don't have the resources to deal with the disaster. Hopefully, the world's aid agencies will get in there as quickly as possibe and do what they can to alleviate the suffering on the ground.

I disagree with you . What's turning people away is that they don't want to live by God's Word and do what is required to make heaven their home . They want a religion that will allow them to keep on doing what they please and God doesn't work that way . Being a Christian requires sacrifice and commitment , which is a reasonable request after all Christ did for us .

Steven performed at this church as a favor to his friend , Marianne Williamson , the pastor at the church at that time . Not sure if you're familiar with her ministry , but it does not go along with the bible .

Sorry for the misunderstanding . It does matter though what church a person is in . If they go to a church that teaches something contrary to God's Word , they are hurting themselves more than helping .

Not sure if you're aware , but Karma comes from the Buddhists belief . Christians believe in the Golden Rule , Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you . Everything we do , good or bad , will come back to us 10 fold .

We can only hope that God will reach Steven and the other band members of Aerosmith and bring them to repentance before it is too late .

Just because Steven said , thank God for this or that or said , God bless you to his audience does NOT make him a Christian . The bible tells you that even the devil believes in God and knows the bible and trembles , but what good does it do him ?
