the reason for that is because guitar hero is so different from guitar itself. in gh, u have 5 frets of buttons and 1 thing to strum, and on guitar u got 6 strings, about 20 frets each (unless ur on acoustic), and u usually use a pick, instead of a button

And if you want to know what a joke Rock Band or Guitar Hero are then find the clip of Rush playing Tom Sawyer (their own song!) and see how low their scores are (it's like a 37 or something). im part of the guitar hero generation but real guitar is a million times better
