Actually using it wrongly caused you to fall into hypnosis. It´s not about self convincing you that Krishna is playing a flute by your side, it is about looking inwards in deep relaxation. This means get to know and understand yourself. In the end, I feel very connected with present time; I´m not floating around in a hippie pipe dream. Even, there´s other techniques as visualization, which don´t need from a mantra.

The nazis were a drastic example for euphemistic wording. The fact, that you worship hindu gods, but you deny this fact by wording it as a frequency to calm the mind. This is the euphemism. The frequency does not count, the worship of hindu gods does count for the question, if TM is a full blown religion.I believe that you practice TM for less than a year and I had similar experiences in the beginning. TM is nothing else than autohypnosis - thats all about it.

Don´t worry. I won´t kill anyone. Nazis...you made me crap my pants of laughter. Look, I practice this twice a day, and feel great. Had a lot of positive results, feel very awake, and been through things that I didn´t even expect (for example improving social life). And I´m not part of any organization or group because of it. I´ve never been charged by anyone because of learning TM. What I experience is basically, get relaxed, and then think much clearer.

Shanti is not a TM - Mantra, but Shiring for example is and it is nothing else than a worship formula for Lakshmi. If you call it creating a frequence for wealth or just simply worshipping the deity of wealth makes no difference in fact. The nazis for instance did kill millions of jews, but the called it a resettlement. SO the fact counts not the wording for it.

Mantras are based not exactly in worship for gods (you don´t necessary name the hindu gods), but in the sound of the word chosen (let´s say for example "Shanti"-meaning peace), creating a frequence that reverberates in your brain creating a peaceful feeling. So it is not exactly about what you say, but how this word sound. How brain activity is affected during this process it´s been prooved several times by real technical devices.

Of course it is a full blown religion. It is Hinduism, of course you are not informed that you worship Shiva, Lakshmi, Saraswati (dependent on your age). The mantras are not meaningless but they are worshipping formulas of hindu gods. Secondly which scientific technique has a holy tradition?

I think, I could invite Mr. Pat Condell on a speach about TM

I don´t understand how religious people (above all) get so scared and furious about Transcendental Meditation, like if it was a sort of menace. IT IS NOT RELIGION AT ALL, calm down people.Transcendental Meditation is not against anything.
