This version is darker than the others i've heard. I find Harry Nilsson does it top notch, considering its his song. While Three Dog Night has an excellent version. The screaming ruins this version for me, i'm certain the majority of its audience enjoys it, just not my slice of cake.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the screaming parts, but I think his voice brings a nice dimension to the lyrics. The video's a bit corny though, to be honest.
