and, btw, what's the point of a rapper/producer who doesn't write his own lyrics (ahem...dre)? kanye doesn't write all of his lyrics. that's fine. but he's just another in the long line of rapper/producers who just aren't what they seem. he's a 2008 version of diddy, only there's no biggie. it's just boring to me.

there are 1,000 better rappers. there aren't too many better producers. i really admire his beats. they're fantastic. i saw him in chicago (i live in NYC) and his fevered ego seemed to get the best of him even there. maybe this is unfair, but i can't possibly imagine knowing that guy. he seems like a real asshole. and i know people reading this are fans: not trying to insult you. i just don't like the way he conducts himself. and to quote Tribe, his lyrics are Butt.
