my favorite blues guitarist+my fav rock'n'roll guitarist= I'm in heaven. I felt the same in cinema, watching "Shine A light".I'm so jealous about all those people sitting there, drinking beer and listetning to such a music.

buddy guy is a gentlemen of equality, not of social classes. he loves anyone who appreciates music as much as the stones do. anyone who can play or sing music is of interest of buddy guy.

this would've been a lot better if it occurred in the 60s with Brian Jones-too bad they didn't jam together at all at Chess

lets not forget that buddy only plays blues.he play's better solo's than keith but but keith has a better rythm and plays rock n roll, country, reggae, funk, folk, punk, ballads. when buddy plays with jerry lee or chuck he doesn't adapt, it's the same licks for whatever he plays.i'm sure he could if he wanted to or could learn if he doesn't know how but he doesn't.they both play with alot of soul and that's what's important.when your as good as they are it's apples and oranges.

That is the point, exactly. This video demonstrates how Buddy Guy is exponentially musically higher, wider, and deeper than Keith and the Stones are. I love Exile and the Stones are great song writer. They mega-rock and roll stars--but Buddy is miles and miles beyond what they do. Keith always sounds like he is hacking on a piece of metal rip-rap. |
