Had he been a little persistent and focused on Britain before he went after the Soviets, he would have smashed it no problem. While that's absolutely true, France and Britain can hardly be called formidable.So they were really fighting against two true beasts. US and Russia. And Russia only because of the sheer volume of men and machine Russia was able to hurl at them.

Finland does not equate with France, Britain, or the United States. But they still defeated the Soviet invasion.Germany's effort was by far the most heroic of the war.
