we read history, we get to know it through the old scriptures passed down. showing off isn't good. it just attracts tourists and make this traditional art cheap.

if the shaolin monks do not show their fighting skills and acrobatics ,by which way they can make you know their kung fu?and how can shaolin get the more respect from kung fu lovers?

it is a sad, sad day when shaolin, a once very respectable sect and tradition, becomes phony. a dark, dark day indeed. if the shaolin are selling out, who's next? traditional martial arts will just start getting more cheap and watered down from here, at least if this continues...
