THE PLIGHT OF THE BURMESE PEOPLE
As if the Burmese people hadn't enough to contend with by being brutally ruled by a Junta of military criminals, they now have to contend with one of the worst natural disasters ever to occur in the region. With a bit of luck this will spell the end of the general's rule as it appears that they don't have the resources to deal with the disaster. Hopefully, the world's aid agencies will get in there as quickly as possibe and do what they can to alleviate the suffering on the ground.

Our Lands are far from each other but our ORTHODOX culture connects us , no mather how far the distance is. IT`S NOT JUST ABOUT THE BELIVE IN GOD, its about sharing an attitude towards life and its development on this earth. I take it you had no blessing to photograph any monks or any service during your stay right?Your photos are good..but I wonder if you didn't have blessing or just didn't have time to photograph the fathers during a service or even inside any of the churches?Thanks
