Cyclone Nargis Impacts Burma
Cyclone Nargis made landfall in Burma (Myanmar) on May 2, 2008. The resulting floods have killed an estimated 100,000 people. This colorized infrared imagery from the Meteosat-7 satellite shows the storm in the Indian Ocean and as it impacts land.
