THE PLIGHT OF THE BURMESE PEOPLE
As if the Burmese people hadn't enough to contend with by being brutally ruled by a Junta of military criminals, they now have to contend with one of the worst natural disasters ever to occur in the region. With a bit of luck this will spell the end of the general's rule as it appears that they don't have the resources to deal with the disaster. Hopefully, the world's aid agencies will get in there as quickly as possibe and do what they can to alleviate the suffering on the ground.

Look at the absolute heartbreak on Todd's face at 2:50-2:53. That was always the saddest part for me. But I love how Todd is the first one to stand up for Mr. Keating.

Never mind, ignore my previous comment. Misunderstood which expulsion threat was being referred to.Very inspirational scene anyway. :)

I don't think they got expelled. They all signed the accusation against Keating, which was why Todd was so upset. I guess Charlie was already in trouble and he refused to sign it, therefore he was the only one expelled.

It's sad, yes...but once the spark is lit, no amount of formal education can extinguish it. School has its place, but matters of the heart and school may only have a narrow band of overlap. This scene is one of my all-time favorites!Thank you for posting!
