THE PLIGHT OF THE BURMESE PEOPLE
As if the Burmese people hadn't enough to contend with by being brutally ruled by a Junta of military criminals, they now have to contend with one of the worst natural disasters ever to occur in the region. With a bit of luck this will spell the end of the general's rule as it appears that they don't have the resources to deal with the disaster. Hopefully, the world's aid agencies will get in there as quickly as possibe and do what they can to alleviate the suffering on the ground.

IntroductionI spent two hours with Professor Blair Gadsby last friday 6-11-2008 and talked with him about his desire to get Senator John McCain to talk with some of the more prominent scientists about what he knows about that event, and to bring new evidence to his attention. I guess he wasn't getting anywhere with polite requests, so he decided to draw his line in the sand in front of the snowy-haired Senior Senators' office, and refuses to eat solid food until he gets some face time, or a solid promise for a meeting.
