I think Hendrix's versioon is the best, or Clapton's. But that's probably just because I play guitar, and those are far more guitar based covers.

Woooooow this is very a good version of this song, the most energic I agree ! I love the beginning, I really really love the middle with the violine and the acoustic guitar, I like the sax.I was sooo disappointed with the guitar-piano thing, I really thought it was a real guitar but no... It was good anyway."Ca me fait perdre la tête" in french ^^Love it

ok its like this...........Dylan Wrote It....we all know he was a great poet, not a great singer.........Hendrix made it famous, greatest guitar riff in the history of this song, DMB made it unbelieveable at a live show because of his vocals and just raw emotion they add to every song.

I enjoyed that alot. Still disagree about it being better than Hendrix and Dylan though.

No, I totally agree with you. I feel thankful for the two times I got to see him perform live, one of which was only months before he died.

shit, i was just listening to this song at first, and i was amazed of the guitar solo... Then i just had to see the entire video, and holy crap, what i thought was a guitar solo, was actually Butch playing the keyboards!! goddam it! |
