well obviously you're tougher because remeber Aussie rules is a professional sport, GAA is an amateur sport, our players have to cram a job into a busy training schedule

To be fair, BigMark did say he didnt know the codes very well. In Australia attacking the body of a player, within the rules, is perfectly fine. Its a way of indimidating an opponent into making mistakes in the future. The Australians know the Irish aren't used to it. It's also an instinct for the Aussies to go in hard at the ball and man. Watching some clips here on youtube, it seems that in the GAA, the players try and smother the ball, rather than grabbing a player they could easily catch

Im from n.ireland and in most sports apart from rugby i would want the irish to lose.Although I dont know much about the GAA or AFL it looks like the austrians taktics were just to hurt teh irish because they wewre less skillfull.I realy like watching this sport now and wish it wasnt tought of as catholic.sum questions plz anwer1) I heard this is happening again soon if so wat date.2) In this do N.Ire players play as team along with the Ireland or is it just ROI on their own.thx
