Does anyone know what the title of this concerto is?

You know your right hlaakso but still I personally like watching a musician express physically, makes it more of a show just my opinion. With Vengerov videos about 90% of the comments are either "Oh he moves to much I hate him" or "Your stupid for thinking that its good that he moves, you don't know anything about music!" I think everyone is subject to their own opinion and if they want to criticize KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.Hilary isn't one of my favorites, but shes definitely one of the best around.

I don't see why people get so caught up in how the violinist moves. If they need to move to play with more expression, that's fine. Or if they have to play "robotically" than that's fine too. I don't move that much because I don't feel it adds to my expression. I even think it cuts down on the expression becuase I would be focusing on moving as well as the technicality of the peice.

True, but Heifetz didn't kill himself either, and her performance isn't nearly as heart-wrenching as his either.

That's because Hilary hasn't committed suicide and Ferras' performance wasn't under Maazel' baton.

Younger than 23; her Deutsche Grammophon contract ended in 2002 and this is on that label.

Serieusement, une femme peut jouer le violin autant qu'un homme.
