Yes. There are 1,000,000,000microfarads(uF) in one farad. There are 1000nanofarads(nF) in 1microfarad and 1000picofarads(pF) in 1nanofarad. This means that there are 1,000,000picofarads in one microfarad. So .001microfarads is 1nanofarad, and 1000picofarads are 1nanofarad.In other words, this means that you're correct.

how do you make a capacitor and do you where i could buy one

if your a director or something like that, you can pass the limit

would a 1000pf or higher capacitor be just a.001uf or higher capacitor? thanks

12kv at 60ma would be great for a Tesla Coil. But yes, it can be dangerous if you aren't careful. Just take the right precautions for working with high voltge and use common sense (be sure you completely de-energize the circuit before you touch anything, etc) and you'll be fine.

great video and I have a 12000 volt 60ma transformer, could you use that or would that be lethal? thanks

Brilliant video. Wish I've seen this years ago.

Any way of making a low-voltage one of these?Like... powered by a re-chargable battery with a very high mAh rate? |
