Well, Zjoe, it appears that your linguistic skills are worse than "the worst of Europe" since you have done nothing to convince anyone of ANY ethnicity that you have made a valid point over the last week. MetalGirlOnyx, well obviously they compared Irish linguistic skills to those of other European countries and found that the Irish had the worst linguistic skills in Europe.It's pretty simple to understand really.

Yeah, it is a generalization actually. You'll have to do better than that, I'm afraid. Anybody could make vague references to an ''EU study'' that they supposedly read, and say it's valid proof for their claims. And that quote is far too general, what are they basing their assessment of Irish linguistic skills on? *sigh* You know, I still love my country, and you're not changing my mind about it. Especially since your attempts to discredit Ireland are so laughable. Slán leat!

MetalGirlOnyx, before you accuse me of "making yet another generalization" regarding the irish as having the worst linguistic skills in Europe, perhaps you might like to read the EU study.I have read it and it quotes " Irish people have poorer linguistic skills than the citizens of any other member state" So there you go MetalGirlOnyx. Hardly "another generalization" is it. |
