you people are stupid. softball is WAY harder than baseball. just face the facts. baseballs, yeah sure they are smaller and harder to hit. but if you make the littlest contact with the ball it goes soaring. unlike softball. softball you have to swing harder AND faster to get it to go far. wow, i'd sure hope 30 year old men can throw a ball faster than a woman, if not then it would be sad anyways. i play fastpitch softball and my team was won state tournaments many times. jenny finch is amazing.

lol let an mlb pitcher stand 43 feet away and see how it goes... the concept of "harder" is a flawed one anyways though. For my money, sepak takraw or polo are up there as "hard" for a beginner to play.

this video does not prove that. they didnt ask some FPSB player to come hit off of our pitcher. i bet they'd have trouble too.it's because our guy was used to hitting off of a baseball pitcher, not softball pitcher.

lol. according to this it's only by .1 second. barrels for us depend on hitter. barry bonds hit with a rather skinny bat which isnt very common for power hitters. and alfonso soriano, who lugs a bat that is probably as thick as his arm, if not, thicker. it's all about preference. plus your guys' bats are metal, which is lighter, and you guys can get your bat through the strike zone faster than we can.

i softball they use light aluminum bats the ball is bigger and in the test they used the best pitcher in softball Jennie finch. Why don't they use the best pitcher from the majors and they only tested a fastball if they were to test different pitches it would be alot harder in baseball because they can throw more pitches than in softball and they should also put Albert Pujols to hit and give him 100 pitches so he can get used to the rising action

How about getting a softball player to hit a pitch from an MLB pitcher. They wouldn't be used to it and would struggle with it, just because it's different. This is a completely flawed scientific study and proved nothing.
