Would have been cool to see the Bernie Leigh-anne version!O and cometirish, you are spot on! I think Michael could have left all of that out, in FOF 2000 and in Celtic Tiger. I mean COME ON! He tries to mask it as women "breaking the mold" of a strict society women and becoming an individual. HAH! You could do that in other ways.

I agree with you, it would be boring to see the same thing over, however personaly I feel they could have made changes without all the overtly sexual. For me Irish dance is ment to be subtle! really and truely they could of chucked in a few poles for the women to dance around ;)

That's rather like being upset that Twyla Tharp's "Push Comes to Shove" doesn't look, sound or feel like Balanchine's "Nutcracker"...different shows, different characters and story. It's theater! I don't think we would want to see the same show over and over (well ok, I have watched Lord of the Dance over and over, but I like something new too!) :)
