Wow, so much hate!I found this randomly on my search for Gaeilge podcasts/videos and I'm definitely subscribing!Thank you for doing this, it's definitely very helpful - especially with the subtitles. This is awesome, because 1] you get to know how it sounds 2] you get to know how to pronounce and 3] you get to know how to write! I love it, and I'm grateful, so thank you again and keep it up!

The accent is usually used over letters to differentiate it from the unaccented version. I'm not sure what the rules for Gaeilge is but I'd wager it's similar.

Well just because you don't like it doesn't mean you have to deride it. I personally love Irish. So, speak for yourself. English is great but I'm glad I can speak our own native language fluently. It's something extra. |
