YES!!! that's the one, Mimmos. Protesters? Not sure whatcha mean here. Your city was great and the people were the best. Didn't see anyone in town or by the ship, chanting "death to America" or anything. I'm just a guy who sailed the world for a living so I could put food on the table. Plus, with Irish blood running through my veins, I was enjoying a few days back in the "homeland." Great Grandfather and Grandmother hail from Donegal.

Mimmos is the one I think you mean - still there as of Jan 2009 and still going strong. I was probably one of the protesters on the quay that day by the way!

I was there in 1999 when my ship, the U.S.S. Vicksburg pulled into port. The greatest city I visited while on cruise.Tell me, there was a burger joint right there in the square by the statue called "Memos or Nemos." Is it still there? Stumbled out a few bars when in port and grabbed a quick bite before heading back to the boat.
