i find it amazing that anmyone can compare the VENTURES to the SHADOWS. they are so different.the SHADOWS are just class and awesome on there instruments.the VENTURES never progressed much from a surf group. and if you go on there site you can hear some woeful covers by them SHADS GREATEST BY MILES.

THANK YOU! (Coming from a 16 year old that has to deal with hearing crappy "rock" music of today. In my age group is eaither metal or that crap rock people like today...Jonas Brothers....there turning rock into bubble gum pop crap.

u dont hear music like this anymore unfortunately. you dont even really hear guitars playing tunes either. just crappy indie barre chord shite on telecasters! bring back musical talent!
