Nuke is useless in this time against good aricraft.Germanys Aircraft and Weapons was 20 or more Jears over her time (1945).Today when you see Aircraft its all german design from 1945 wonder weapons.USA steal planes with account of 3 Billions after war.Allies technoligy in ww2 was very low...

Hitlers mistakes was no stalingrad , hitler had wait after France War and 1946 attack Russians (with big numbers of Jet Fighters and V2) and not 1942.Hitler/Stalin pact never stop bevor Hitler attack Russia and USA/Brit have never a chance alone attack germany.

USA lose in europe 200.000 Soldiers against a low number of Wehrmacht/SS (Full Power of Germans was 1943) If Germany use Me262 Jet fighter earlier , Allies lose air dominance and can´t never join a nuke over germany.And when germany have enought time to build Horten 9 (1100 km/h) and the other Aircraft with 15-20 Jears over her time....where win the war?

We should salute all the brave men who died for what they believed to be a noble cause..defeating fascism and racism. That includes the Red Army which destroyed the bulk of the Wehrmacht/SS. (Consider: USA war dead under 450,000. USSR 25 million) Would the world be a better place or a worse place today if Adolf had won? For sure, all nations committed attrocities but only one had genocide as state policy. For that reason I'm glad they stopped the Hitler gang.

did everyone know that 90% of the deaths at omaha are blamed on a single mg42 used by Hein Severloh, thats almost 3000 deaths by a single soldier, thats pretty brutal and then after d day he escaped to a nearby town and where he was taken captive. He has since been able to die of old age in 2006.

I agree in some senses. It would have been suicide to send bombers in though, as there were thousands of AA guns.
