This book is fantastic. How dare you say that there is too many details! That's part of the whole Indian storytelling experience!

"Reasonable" does not mean chasing profits or power. It means thinking about what you do, and that is what he did as he learned how to write better.Okay maybe he isn't "obviously too religious".. It just irked me that the book started with "This story will make you believe in God", while it's just a very imaginative story. And afterall, religion is all about not being reasonable.

tell me.. why does explaining about the inevitabilities in book writing contradict ones belief in "be less reasonable". and where's the obviousness on "too religious" in that? You've got me but... now I'm confuses at your expense! :)

I think he confuses "reasonable" with "imaginationless".He says "Be less reasonable!" then goes on to explain his very reasonable techniques for writing good stories. Obviously the guy is too religious.I liked the book though. |
