Great rifle. Too bad that this project was put to death in 2005 and the XM8 won't ever be mass produced. Only prototypes of the weapon exist.

higuys < i am a military man and trust me this rifle is stupid thing, because thier are to many buttons in the triger are and these buttons gonna confuse the shooter during the heavy combat, he may drop the magazine accedently for example, and trust me..No one wanna drop the magazine during combats because if you do you gonna in deep shit.FORMAL IRAQI OFFICER.

I think Special Forces has a handful of them, but this weapon (XM8)and the M16 are exellent rifles.

not as much as an m16. i know it is a myth that an ak-47 won't jam if its not clean. HOWEVER it will fire just not as well, but it will fire
