Islam Is such a peaceful and forgiving religion. They only slaughter the weak after they pray and pass a verdicte on a minor. I feel sorry for the people of Iran. Their must be some worth saving. Before they all turn into a pilar of Salt.

Dont forget the fact that it is legal in islam to marry children as long as they dont consummate it til age 9. This is legal because Mohhamad did it. Aisha was 6 when Mohhamid married her. Probabaly consummated at 6 or at LEAST 9. According to my world religion professor its likely most didnt wait, or dont, wait til 9. I guess its not normal but powerful Imams do it.

Once upon a time, Persia was a synonim of freedom, culture and human development. They came as conquerers to the western europe. They colonized us. Yet, they achieved it not by being repressive but by making people wanting to welcome them. While the Roman Catholic europe was entering the dark middle ages, persia was it's lighthouse. It was the economic, cultural and intelectual centre of the world.Now it's only a bad place to live in. What happened wrong?

This is a tragedy for so many people who have to live under this horrible theocracy. I know many Iranians(Persians) who fled and I've never met people who are more committed to secularism after having their home country held hostage w/religion. Imagine not being able to go home because of this. Only by supporting the secular overthrow of this theocracy and the imposition of the separation of church and state, where religion is put in its proper place, will we see a great society in Iran emerge.
