Humans aren't classified as humans because of where they live, but because of their biology. No matter where you live, your body and system as a human is the same. Colloquially, yes, a whale is often called a fish, but it belongs to the mammal species and to my knowledge at least I don't believe it can be technically classified as a fish.

Just like Human. europeans, Africans, Asia...etc but all Humans live on dry land no one live underwater.
CWEmiko (December 31, 1969 at 4:59 pm)
That's actually not true. Dolphins and whales are mammals, not fish.

Anything that lives in the sea is a fish. they take different shapes and different behaviour thereafter. call them what you like. but they are fish (live in the seas and oceans with fins.

I've been in a small zodiac with blue's around me, it's cool. They're the size of a boeing 747. The sound they make when the breath (spout) right next to you is amazing, unless you're not expecting it then it scares the hell out of you .

make sure next time you see a seal or a seal lion or whatever, call them fishies in front of your mates....or "mammal fish", to quote you...

It doesn't matter how you breath Gills or lungs as long as you live in the sea and oceans and have fins you are a fish. perhaps a mammal fish. |
