Oh where to begin...Ok first of all those people were not alive during the supposed time of Jesus.Next the word Christ and Christus means the annointed oneJesus Christ = Jesus the annointed onePliny the Younger to the Emperor Trajan (about A.D. 61-115), Suetonius (A.D. 75-160), Tacitus (A.D. 54-119) all refer to Christ,Christus or Chrestus and not to any person called JesusSo got any more evidence you'd like me to disprove?

Pliny the Younger to the Emperor Trajan (about A.D. 61-115), Suetonius (A.D. 75-160), Tacitus (A.D. 54-119) all non-Christians made reference to Jesus.

Another non-Christian - Roman historian Tacitus wrote in 116 AD. "So, in order to quash the rumour, Nero blamed it on, and applied the cruellest punishments to, those sinners, whom ordinary people call Christians, hating them for their shameful behaviour. (15.44.2) The originator of this name, Christus, was sent to execution by Procurator Pontius Pilate, during the reign of Tiberius..."

Yes, there are those that claim "The Antiquities of the Jews" was forged. Mainly Jews that do not believe Jesus was the Messiah and many others that are doing exactly what you are doing. Of course, they didn't use Wikipedia... lol |
