I'll give this performance its due - a fabulous one by 2 combined legends of this musical genre. But - the finest version of "Sally Goodin" I've ever heard, is a true-to-spirit rendition of the tune, in the ORIGINAL, old-time, slower-style mountain-music genre / beat, by that fiddle legend from the '30's, J.E. Mainer, and his own family band of adult children - recorded in the mid 60's, a whole album's worth of 23 original-style old-time mountain-music CLASSICS. Try it - you'll be amazed !!
