"were slightly cooler"as you say, slightly. thats nothing special if we consider the solar minimum. this is our last change to get back on track, after that we are f0cked... the slight difference will definitely melt the methane rich permafrost, we are already almost there now.

EARTH CONTINUES TO COOLBoth September 2008 and October 2008 were slightly cooler than September 2007 and October 2007.The earth is not being warmed up by "manmade" co2. Al Gore is wrong.

Just a couple comments: No-one is (as far as I know) suggesting the earth won't survive. The point is that the climate will change so much so raplidly, and become so unstable, that it will adversely affect human living conditions as well as those of many other species.

" pulled up all the sources which were availible in order to prove him wrong and instead ended up changing my own mind."This suggests you're open-minded. Well, if that is really the case, check out these websites:

the video that this is posted under is of al gore misusing data again to his advantage.and, actually, the last major climate event that has taken place, from a historical perspective, has been an ice age. it would make sence that we should be looking at a slight ongoing temp increase.between ice ages we know plants grew in areas much closer to the poles than they do now. it would follow that temps were higher. earth survived then, it will now.

show me or tell me what you googled in order to show any temp trend which was outside of normal variation.we are talking about agw not what we already know is occuring in nature.temp records go back over a hundred years so if your argument is valid it should be easy.

Then wy this obsession with AL Gore? You see, the point here is that if you look at the big picture we should be in a global cooling period now. Instead we are seeing steadily increasing global temperature (unless you're cherrie picking).

no, for me this is about a professor i had who told me that the global cooling scare that was going on while i was in college was a load of crap. he told me to wait ten years and they'll be screaming global warming next. he was off by ten years but HE WAS RIGHT!!!i pulled up all the sources which were availible in order to prove him wrong and instead ended up changing my own mind.all of the temp changes which have occured are WELL within normal variation. |
