Wait a minute, are you trying to tell us that if we are not members of a certain Church then we cannot go to Heaven? If so I believe you are wrong my friend. For Jesus said in John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It doesn't say "No one can come to the father except through the pope and the church" This verse shows us that Pope Leo XIII was wrong, the only way for us to lose are rewards in heaven is if we forsake Jesus.

He has cut himself off from the promises of the Church, and he who leaves the Church of Christ cannot arrive at the rewards of Christ.

That's why hymns like 'Dies Irae' have no place, or better, do not tired out the heart of the meaning of the Gospel in the (Orthodox) Church. Christ stands for joy, love and forgiveness, Cross and Resurection as well.Χριστός Ανέστη!

I apologise, Catholic brothers and sisters...Orthodox Church is the only Catholic (Καθολική) and Apostolic (Αποστολική) Church. Jesus Christ didn't come to us to build a state. The temptation that He refused, Pope -not the one he rules at the moment- accepted them, as there was nothing bad after all...He defended his people in the past, but he built also a totally secular (κοσμικόν) state in the foundation stone of fear.

I don't care what it's about, just enjoyed the music - nor do I agree with it, I do not believe in Jesus Christ nor Judgement Day. Therefore, the words are irrelevant, however I appreciate the music. It's quite hard to get thrown off by the words whilst I'm listening to it, when I know no latin ;)

I think samzaralea is showing his ignorance of the Catholic Church as per "[I] dont pray to any body else but the Lord Jesus Christ." I am a former Lutheran that converted to Catholic and this idea was mentioned in class, that other Christians think that Catholics pray to the Saints and Mary instead of Jesus. This is far from the truth as we pray through them to Jesus.
