And I don't care what you pussies think about my opinion, but I own a 3rd generation family owned and operated construction company. the only equipment we buy is Caterpillar. Fact is, they make damn fine machinery. If Cat actually did get in trouble for this, which I don't see why they should, they would stop producing equipment and the construction market would fail because there is no way in hell that all of the other Companies can pick up the slack left by Cat in less than a couple years.

Why should Caterpillar be held responsible? If they no longer supplied them, Komatsu, John Deere, or even Case would jump in and supply just as much as Cat. So suing Caterpillar is a bunch of bull, because if you sue them, you might as well sue the other companies I listed. Supplying them was a bid job, Caterpillar came in with the best price and best reliability. Komatsu, John Deere, and Case all bid on it, but they were beat out by Cat. This is bullshit.
