Berkeley Bionics™, designs and manufactures lower extremity exoskeletons to augment human strength and endurance during locomotion. Berkeley Bionics exoskeletons increase wearer's strength while decreasing their metabolic cost of walking. The company is also attacking the technological barriers to a practical, affordable exoskeleton for civilian and medical applications, particularly to assist patients with neurological or muscular mobility disorders. These powered human exoskeletons would allow their wearers to walk upright without the strain and muscular effort required by today's unpowered orthotic devices.

as a solider myself, i find that the exo-skeleton would be very usefull in cobat and around the base, the only thing i would see that could be added would be for the pilots arms, what if the piolet needed to carry and use a piece of equipment wile on the move say a light machiengun, you could store an ammo containe on the back but over time you hands would grow weak of the weight of the wepon.

They should start trying to figure out a way to affix that thing with ceramic protective armor.

If you ever had been the "Light" Infantry who are crushed by their ever-weighting backpack and equipment, you will surely praise that thing.

I think at least 10,000 of these units should be donated to the French Military and have the U.S. Goverment foot the bill!

What if it takes you to places you don't want to be in!*Trying to remove straps*"Can't let you do that, dave"Jokes aside, This could help rewire neurons and tonify muscles por paraplegics, as M3T4L012i3u0whatver said.

"Exoskeleton suit helps paralyzed people walk..ReWalk helps paraplegics stand upright, climb stairs" Trials are in their infancy, but I predict with proper nutrition and one of these devices, neurons will reconnect and muscle will stay toned and blood circulated throughout the paralyzed limb, as the regrowth neurons rewire.!!!! This is...words just aren't good enough...AWESOME
