i do irish dancing and you don't have to tuck in the laces unless you are competing so it looks better. (I don't tuck in the laces, if they come untied, then I just retie them)

Gahhhh what is that tap dancing she is doing! Never ever bend at the knee for a treble. You should never use that as an example for a beginner. I have seen so many tap dancers have to overcome bending the knee back and keeping the ankle and foot straight forward when they begin Irish dance. It's tough to learn to only use your ankle for trebles. (And her foot is flat coming up for the click... yikes!) If you practice your dancing wrong, you dance it wrong in class and at competition.

well that is OK for beginners... and I do balet and unless working with point shoes or requested by teacher laces are tucked in.No duh :P

OMG! What a terrible way to show ppl dance moves! 3 GLARING mistakes - 1. Never, never teach a treble swingin the foot like that, keep it in front! 2. Toes DOWN on click (see her left foot as it goes up??) 3. Dance to the music - jesus - the ending is soooo awful! How can ppl watch this rubbish!
