just the fact that you make an argument against something thats a figure of speech ([put in whatever that has a personal value] is simply the best) just proves you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer.besides, you can't put artists of an artform on a scale and say who's the best. it's an artform, music making, painting, sculpturing, writing. it's not a science. it's all about taste and taste is personal and can't be proven wrong.

I believe that the number of copies sold and the amount of time you sell your album should not be the basis of being the best. Though I am not saying that coldplay is the best, there is a lot more ways to listen to music nowadays than buying an album so I guess its fair to say that albums sold in a shorter time and the number of it sold should not be a basis my friend
