Mach3 has three blades. Headblade makes a version that has three blades. I've noticed that the three-bladed version offers a smoother more comfortable shave.

I tried this and you know there is a certain part of the back of my head were there seems too be a slight bump and I cut my head there from how sharp the blade is.I tried little less pressure but it still cut me every time. I use the mach3 now and it works great

(cont'd) For me against the grain means front to back on the top, bottom to top on the back (I.E. from the base of my neck toward the top of my head), and finally a combo of bottom to top and back to front on the side, depending on the exact spot. Also, when shaving your neck/back of your head in the manner I described, make sure to tilt your head all the way forward. That stretches out the skin and smoothes the folds out so the razor does'nt get caught up easily.PM me if you have questions.

newbienate: I had a similar issue when I was first shaving my head. Here's what I did/do; first, wait until the cuts are healed before you run a razor over the area again. Second, when you do shave make sure there is plenty of cream/gel on the area including some area just past the hair so you don't cut yourself getting a run at the hair. Third, I find it works best (less irritation and closer shave) for me to go against the grain of my hair.(to be continued)

i have a bald head and the key is to shave often if not daily, soften the hair and skin, learn what directions different parts of your hair grow in, and always use a sharp blade. there is also a little known ointment called diprolene that your doctor can prescribe that will kick the shit outta any bump problem you have.i use shaving cream or lathered soap to prepare my skin and hair but i wipe it off before i shave and my head stays as smooth as a baby's ass

i used the bladehead for first today and it did great for top and side but the back is completely scared up, after couple hours theirs a total of 5 major cuts and alot of uneven hair i finish the uneven parts . it burns but its a great product |
