Heh, good point... Never thought of it that way before with the trade off. The thing I love about songs like this is the simplicity which is what made it sound so good on a mono car radio. I can't stand how new songs have 15 - 20 tracks in the recording, so you need a good stereo to hear the full range of murky computer sounds. I'm only 23, but I don't listen to much past the early 90s... Sometimes I feel old for being able to connect with new music :-p

Considering they were lipsynching to the record, I doubt that the instruments were plugged in.

Way kewl. You are fortunate. I saw pics of Larry just after 9/11, posing in his driveway, with a shirt on that says: "Got Milk?"The Association came to my hometown in October of 1980 and gave a wonderful performance.Larry says he misses Kauai and the good food and makes frequent trips back to the Islands.I miss Brian Leslie Cole. He died two days prior to my 17-year-old cousin, same year too. My cousin also overdosed on China white. 1972 was a hard summer for me.
