Actually, The West Coast has enough elevation to be protected from a sea level rise of a few feet. New York, Boston etc. all have elevation too. The problems will come in the more conservative Texas Coast, Florida, Louisiana, Mississipi & coastal Alabama. It will be these areas of the US that will find themselves permanently underwater after a few more hurricanes. After a few more drenching they will have lost or modified their religion.

You know part of me wants GW to happen. Oceans rise, floods east and west coasts (where most of the liberal left wing idiots live?). Coastal liberal left wingers have to flee to middle America where us middle Americans with our religion and guns can "reeducate" said leftwingers. Global warming looks better and better
