The letters are Kaf, Shin, and Resh. When you put them together they form the Hebrew word Kosher. I have no idea what that has to do with speed.:)

I don't know, but that's when she was greatly changed by the Hollywood censers! I'd suspect that she wasn't thought of as old fashioned in 1935, because they changed her image by then, and the cartoon continued for another four years! Personally, I think that the best Betty cartoons are from the early thirties! |
