The only hate I see on this page, 01ovon, is not coming from any of the Irish posters...just the posters with UK flags on their channels. And that has been very typical of the last 20 months and 2,400 comments on this video. Sad, but very informative.

01ovon: Yes, but Northern Ireland isn't all of Ireland you know. Besides, there is a peace process there now and we are all hopefull that it will become a modern, tolerant, normal society like everywhere else in the EU in the 21st century, without the medieval sectarian divisions which have bedevilled the place for decades. Maybe then they'll all stop whining about one side getting something that the other did not.Here's hoping.

"Challenge" lol. Bigbeninjax, maybe if you lived in Ireland, you might understand and see for yourself that it is a fair comment to describe the Irish as being racist. As a matter of fact it's getting worse as the Irish false economy crumbles by the day.Not so long ago our "Johney" was too good for flipping burgers, now there are queues of Irish trying to get these jobs. It's hilarious to watch actually. How the "mighty" have fallen.Mighty me arse.

Let's just say that my definition of racism has nothing to do with geography or politics. When two people who hate each other stand side by side and there are no discernible differences...that is not racism...it is politics.

I think we all know what racist is bigbeninjax. At least everyone I know does and I don't think it requires a great deal of intelligence to know what is racist and what is not. But you raise an interesting point; perhaps a lot of Irish people don't understand racism. Interesting angle on it. |
