and I genuinely am askin your opinion, dont start bitchin at me, just tel me why and I'll tell you why I disagree..!
irelandsgreatest (October 8, 2008 at 2:54 pm)
I didnt say it hasnt evolved did I? no, cause I no it has... but evolution doesnt mean improvement!! OK, so years ago you didnt need speed or skill?? are u really trying to say that?! wel for players that wouldnt last now (according to you) why is it that Pele, Maradona, Best, Puskas etc are known throughout the world as football's irreplaceable greats?? are we all missing something that only you know?? and please explain to me why, in your opinion, Ronaldinho is so fantastic??
dimonai01 (October 7, 2008 at 8:08 pm)
more physical but required no skill nor speed seriously stop u are trying to argue about something really stupid. anyone can tell u football has evolved and is now a better, harder sport...same goes for every other sports so just stop im wasting my time here and really i think ronaldinho played well during the world cup its just that zidane was such a power house in the midfield during the quarter final ronaldinho couldn't do anything same goes for kaka great player but zidane is just better
irelandsgreatest (October 7, 2008 at 2:58 pm)
and as for "Pele and Maradona wouldnt last now" are u off your head?? Todays game is turning into a non-contact sport! They played in a much tougher tackling, less disciplined era than Ronaldinho, they didnt get the type of protection he got, would Ronaldinho of lasted then is the real question!Pele shone on the biggest stage of all - the World Cup. as did Maradona. Ronaldinho was supposed to have done the same at the 2006 World Cup but in his biggest test he was a disapointment unfortunately.

no1 did ya tit, u said Ronaldinho may not be the greatest, he's close but he'd smoke them, so in your wise opinion who's the greatest Im askin ya..?? and dont get me wrong, I was a Ronaldinho fan!! and in your infinite knowledge, explain 2me how u can describe a man, who's whole professional career (inc. PSG) was ridiculed because of his love of drink, women and partyin and lack of commitment, as a model professional who works harder than most players..?? give me a break mate
dimonai01 (October 6, 2008 at 8:26 pm)
uhh who said pele and maradona were the greatest players of all time? maybe of their time but the game has evolved they wouldn't last long now. and im srry but to go from a crappy brazilian team to france than spain than italy + winning the best player award it takes work a lot of work more work than most players that are at the top put in.
