AWW So sad May all you killed horses out there RIP (Barbaro and ManOfWar) the horse i ride is a retired race horse because he broke his leg during a race he then had to stay in stable rest for 1 YEAR it was sad... most of the pics u had are of steeple chase i noticed (steeple chase is the most dangerous horse racing sport in the world)great movie 5 stars faved!

aww these poor horses, i always thought racing was demanding, cruel, and asked too much of them, but no one believed me. if i could, i would resuce all the ex-racehorses and give them a place where they can be happy and do as they please...

i went to a race course for my birthday thinking oh i cant wait to go there but i basiclly cried when i saw the last race a poor horse had lost its jockey and reared up at the rail like 1 metre away fom me poor thing and i could hear the slapped of the whip going onto the horses and i look really close and some of the jockeys slappd them on their stomachs.

u want a good horse for amlost nothing, go to the slaughter house. there are tons and TONS of ex'race horses. poor things. my friend rescued one,a nd he truned out to be an incredible hunter jumper. and hes the sweetest thing

The numbers are scary! 900 a year?! How is that not illegal? 900 horses just falling down and breaking their necks on tracks in the United States? God, there must be so many who die on tracks around the world! :[[

l used to be fooled that these horses are treated well but l know now that they are just used then tossed aside like trash,its sad and l'll never watch a horse race again peace.
