You gave the correct reasons as to why the Death Penalty is more expensive. The solution is make it less expensive...allow two appeals...and the criminal has two years. After two years...poof...if no evidence is found to prove the criminals innocent...he dies immediately. As to convicting innocent by accident...revising the "failed" judicial system seems more logical than allowing criminals to "live" after committing an artocity.

If somebody accidentally ... i can't really think of a good example... trips someone (?), and they die, should that person be put death?
