nice song--- i don't really like when people turn these videos into verbally-duke-it-out-with-each other forums.. but i'll through this out: what if God used evolution? it is pretty clear a young earth does not make sense-- but i don't think science with ever answer the "why" of us being here-- and people will aways have to choose between "faiths" of a religion or godless world

This week in the journal "Science," there is a report of a rock that is 4.3 billion years old, dated from samarium neodymium isotopes. Oldest rock ever found on Earth (older minerals have been found, and older objects from space have been found). If you fail to understand the science, that's fine. But don't dismiss something just because you can't comprehend it.

Intelligent design is not young earth creationism. If you want to support ID, all you have to do is demonstrate that some "intelligent force" operated that guided evolution/ geological processes. You don't have to argue that the earth is young. But because you are making that argument, it is clear that you are not supporting ID, but creationism. It's ok to believe in God. Lots of scientists do. But accept the physical universe. Less people will laugh at you that way.
